Mrs. Weresuk’s first period biology class has been learning about how certain substances affect one object in different ways. Today, they did a lab with iodine and starch in beakers to see what compounds would be broken down by each other. They discovered that the iodine broke down and dissolved the bag that the starch was in. The students looked at these results under the microscopes.
