On September 19th, Mr. Long’s fourth period was learning about horsepower, and they performed a lab about it. The object of this lab was to see how much horsepower/force the students had to use running up a flight of stairs and, of course, the results were different because some students weight and height differs from the other students. They started off the project by getting in groups and gathered all of the essentials they needed. Mr. Long gave the students a paper and calculator to write down all the data and do some math to get the final results. The students had a lot of fun racing each other up and down the stairs to see who was the fastest.
