Mrs. Mauck’s 4th period physics class built roller coasters to experimentally discover and apply the concept of centripetal force. They applied concept knowledge in order to produce a working design. The class built different forms of coasters. After building the coasters, which included hills and loops, they found the velocity, loop kinetic and potential energy. They also calculated the total energy loss.
