For the last 15 years, Mrs. Brooks has planned a field trip to the Macon Citizens for the Handicapped and allows any Franklin High School student to participate. The students are allowed to select a name of their choosing. After selecting an MCH client the students are given a list of items that they would like. Every member at MCH has a huge stocking with his or her name on it. The FHS students buy the presents and wrap them before they are put in the individual stockings. The students usually go on a Friday before Christmas and deliver the presents to MCH. FHS students enjoy talking to the clients, and watching them open their gifts. This year 140 Franklin High School students participated in the MCH gift giving.
