The FBLA chose to do their community service on alzheimer’s awareness since the club advisor Mrs. Michelle Brooks has witnessed what this disease can do to your family firsthand, since her father has developed alzheimer’s. They chose artist Jay Allen to sing at that concert because his mom had early onset alzheimer’s, and his song “Blank Stares” touched the everyone in the FBLA club at FHS. The process to set up the whole concert was a lot of work for the FBLA club. The club as a whole put in at least 500 hours to work on this concert. Somethings they had to do were:

Design the concert T-Shirts, Ask for sponsorships/donations, and a whole lot of other stuff. They raised over $15,000, they plan to donate most of this to different organizations that help people with alzheimer’s have quality of life.
