ATTN. SENIORS: ** The deadline for the Athletic Scholarships has changed. New deadline is March 29.

Any student interested in taking the ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery)-

should see Mrs. McCall in the guidance office.  This is an excellent test that determines what types of jobs you would be good at.  You do NOT have to be planning on going into the military to take this test.

College Board-

Seniors, If you do a lot of community service through any organization-

(and are interested in applying for a scholarship based on community service) please see Mrs. McCall in the guidance office.

Seniors, have you thought about looking at a college close to home?- 

Take a look at Brevard College.  Brevard is located in Brevard, NC a short distance from Franklin and has a 1/2 tuition program.

Carolina Smokies Realtors Foundation Inc. Scholarship- 

Deadline to Guidance April 2nd, 2019

University of North Georgia- 

now offering in-state tuition to any student from Macon county wishing to attend.  They are also have scholarship and admission auditions for the Music Department coming up on March 23. 

Alpha IOTA Scholarship- 
two scholarships are offered to female seniors pursuing a career in education. 
Application forms are available in the Guidance office. Deadline: Applications are to be mailed and are due before March 29th.

Military Dependent & Spouse Scholarships and Resources: There are several scholarships available through this website.

Vietnam Veteran’s of America Scholarship – Deadline: March 14

The David Dillard Memorial Scholarship – Deadline: March 14
Guy Taylor Memorial Scholarship – Deadline: March 14

Any JUNIOR interested in attending Wofford College (and applying for the Wofford Scholars Program)- See Mrs. McCall in the guidance office for more information.  Scholarships range from $10,000 per year to a full ride.

New scholarships are available in the Guidance office:

– Charles Edward Cathey Masonic Scholarship – deadline: must be emailed or postmarked by March 15.
– William V. Mason Masonic Scholarship – deadline is March 29 to turn in to the Guidance office.
– Junaluskee Foundation Scholarship – deadline is March 29 to turn in to the Guidance office.

SENIORS: New Scholarships available in Guidance:

N.C. Tomato Growers Association (for students pursuing a horticulture or agribusiness degree) – deadline to submit application by mail is May 30. 
Macon County Retired School Personnel Scholarship – deadline to Guidance is March 29.

Coach Dale Hough Memorial Scholarship – deadline to Guidance is April 5.
