Spanish Club Meeting

Writing Competition – Scholarships and Prizes
Who doesn't like a little money? Over $20,000 in scholarship and prizes for writing an essay open to all high-school students. The ACT test originally scheduled for December 9th has been rescheduled for Saturday, December 16th at Franklin High School. Please check you ACT account for details regarding printing tickets, etc.
Morning Learning Centers
Morning learning centers will be held Monday through Friday the weeks of December 4-8 and December 11-15 in Ms. Allen's room--E205. Morning learning center begins at 6:25am and ends at 8:00am. Please be sure to bring work and an admission slip.

Creative Writing Club
Creative Writing Club will meet in Mr. Faetz's room this Friday at 7:00 A.M. Students should have a prepared excerpt of their own writing, or they can begin a piece based on this week's "first lines" suggestion. The first line this week is "Leo massaged the back of his neck, thankful the meeting was over." All shared pieces should begin with this line.
ACT Student Champion Award
A student who has overcome challenges and can articulate education and career actions Students must have a composite ACT score of a 22 on a single test date or a 3.0 or greater on a 4.0 scale. Preference will be given to underrepresented and/or first-generation college students.

Coke Donation Numbers for FHS
