Classroom Insider: SECU Displays FHS Art

FHS art students have work on display throughout March at SECU in Franklin. Students worked very hard to complete these value studies. Art I created acrylic paintings that suggest movement and show a full range of values. Art II created landscapes showing a full range of values while experimenting with different techniques of shading. We asked Kristian Becker if he saw a future career in art and he said “I have definitely considered going to an art school, maybe to be an art teacher.” For Abbey Siek art is a story told on a canvas and she enjoys that because she gets to be creative and express her emotions at the same time.
