The horticulture class here at FHS is all about garden cultivation and management, and Mrs. Collins 1st period class got to do just that. On March 14th, they were working on two projects. One of which, was a comparison of two different types of chickens to see how they differ. The two types looked at are regular, (A.K.A the control group chickens) and organic. For their second project they went down to the greenhouse to water the plants. The students pick a tray of plants to help them grow vegetables and other types of plants. The students got to take the vegetables to a farmer’s market. They continue to plant more and more everyday.
