Hi im Bailey Jenkins  with Red Online and i would like to congratulate  you with your high score Saturday night. I was wondering if I could ask you a few questions for the website.

Q: How do you feel being a senior and it being your last year in band?

A: It is a great yet very sad feeling being a senior in color guard this band is my family and has been since freshman year, it’s gonna be hard to say goodbye.

Q: How does it feel Getting such a high score on the first competition?

A: I am in total awe of this high score on Saturday. In my 4 years we have never scored this high at the first competition and this band is going to do great no doubt about it.

Q: How has band influenced your time at Franklin High School?

A: Band has turned me into the outgoing person that I am today. Without it I don’t know who I would be.

Q: What is your worst and best memory in band?

A: My worst band memory has to be the time I threw out my shoulder during our finale performance of winter season last year. It was during my first big rifle toss and my shoulder popped forward and I was in excruciating pain. I couldn’t throw the rest of the show and I was a mess. My best band memory, has to be the first time I stepped onto the field with the color guard. It was terrifying yet also amazing.

Q: What will you miss the most?

A: I will miss the family, I will miss the rush you get when you step on and off the field, the early mornings and late night. I will especially miss waking up to singing the famed song that every band kid knows when passing the English building. Mostly I will miss the band ten hut the words we yell and the pride I feel from calling this band my family and the field my home.
