Students of Franklin High banded together to help the people in North Carolina affected by Hurricane Florence. Items were dropped off and sorted in Mr. Fox’s room. The items included non-perishable food, baby supplies, water, cleaning supplies, and animal food. The total number of items collected was 3,182. Mr. Fox got into contact with West Bladen High School AG teacher, and the supplies will be headed there and distributed. There is a possibility that Franklin will do another food drive for the people affected by Hurricane Michael, which has been hitting the East Coast this week. Mr. Fox will be gauging student interest before deciding. Students should be immensely proud for what they accomplished and that they stepped up to help people in need.
