The Night to Shine event was on February 10th, 2021. The event is an unforgettable prom night experience for people with special needs. Sadly, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the event was canceled this year. But Franklin High School offered for the community to have their own little thing, in which they can let the special needs people drive around FHS’s track and let the community cheer them on. FHS’s band, FBLA, yearbook participated in the event. Also, as a very special surprise, two local members of the community volunteered to dress up as two cartoon characters from the show “Paw Patrol” and took pictures with the special needs people. As well as getting a picture with the two dogs they also got roses and cheered on by members of the This was a very magical evening for the special need people.
