Lee was born on April 15, 1979 in Franklin North Carolina. He graduated from Franklin High school in 1996 

He played basketball there for three years and he was cut his freshman year and two years went by and he was a good junior then had start getting national recruited he had Clemson, Ohio State, and Western Carolina recruited him and then everyone thought he was looking on going too western but his SATs fell short of the NCAA minimum

 Then he decided to go to Daytona community college where he put up good numbers 17.9 points, 10.9 rebounds, and 4.1 blocks over two seasons. 

He then didn’t graduate his sophomore year and he started getting looked at by Georgetown so he went there his junior year and couldn’t play for his first semester there he started doing good at the end of the season and he helped Georgetown upset #11 Syracuse did good through the tournament and was named All-tournament team that year and finished 10.7 ppg that season. 

He looked like he would be a good draft prospect his senior year and he let his grades fall short and missed his fall semester. He then went to a Ashville team and won the D-League over there in 2004-2005 and then after that he went to the international circuit and played in Venezuela, Finland, China, and Slovakia before finishing his pro career in Canada in 2012.
