This year, FHS has made a few staff changes, including hiring our new athletic director. Matt Bradley was previously the AD for Macon Middle School, and is the defensive coordinator for the Varsity football team.

I had the chance to get in touch with him and ask him a few questions about this school year. Below is our conversation:

How is the transition from middle school to high school? It’s been good. FHS has been very welcoming.

What are you most excited about this school year? Building panther pride in all of athletics as well as all for Franklin High School.

What are your expectations for the sports teams this year as a whole? We have a great group of kids and coaches. I expect many teams to finish at the top of the conference in their specific sports.

What do you think of the student section’s school spirit so far? There has been some positive cheering going on. Good numbers. Just remember, cheer for Franklin!
