NC Motherless Daughters Scholarship:
This scholarship is designed for young women who have had the unfortunate loss of their mother.
Applicants must maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher, must have acceptance and intention to attend a four year university. Applicants must present a competed application including a brief essay and letter of recommendation from guidance counselor, teacher, or community mentor.

North Carolina Association of County Veterans Service Officers Memorial Scholarship:
Amount: $1000.00 (one time)
Applicants must be a high school Senior and the child of an honorably discharged veteran residing in the state of North Carolina.
Questionnaires in the guidance office must be completed and returned to the Veterans’ Service office in Macon county for consideration.
Deadline: March 1, 2018


North Carolina Divisions of Veterans Affairs Scholarship:
Applicants must have a veteran parent that was a legal resident of NC at the time of said veteran’s entrance into the period of service in the Armed Forces during which eligibility is established or the applicant is the natural child or adopted child of an eligible veteran and was born in NC and has been a resident of NC continuously since birth.

SVA Raytheon Patriot Scholarship:

The program is open to Students who are entering in their sophomore, junior, or senior year of undergraduate study, or be enrolled in a graduate program.

North Carolina Alpha Delta Kappa Scholarship:
This scholarship includes three scholarship opportunities; 

The Eunice Riggins Memorial Applicants
must rank in top 10%, Minimum SAT score of 1220 or ACT Composite score of 25, good character, been involved in extra-curricular activities, and have a financial need (not the primary consideration)

The Mary Rose Mills-Linda Rankin Memorial Scholarship
Eligibility requirements: Academic rank top 10%, Minimum SAT 1290 or ACT composite score of 27, good character, involved in extra-curricular activities, and have a financial need (not the primary consideration)

The Clare Johnson Marley-Mary Earle Berger Fine Arts Scholarship 
Eligibility Requirements: Academic rank of Top 20%, Minimum SAT score of 1220 or ACT composite score of 25, good character, participation in extra-curricular activities, and a financial need (not the primary consideration)
Applicants must have applications submitted to college of choice for each scholarship.

Rotary Club of Franklin:

Golden Leaf Scholarship:
Students pursuing a 2 or 4 year degree

The Wayne Proffitt Memorial Scholarship:

Deadline: Must be postmarked by March 1, 2018 and mailed to address on application. 


Video Game Design Scholarship:

Seniors interested in a degree in simulation and video game design should check out William Peace University in Raleigh, NC.  Scholarships available for students with GPAs of 2.5 and higher.  See Mrs. McCall in the guidance office.
