If Makayla could have a boat, she would name it Betsy because that’s what she names every vehicle. If she could change her name she’d probably change it to Max, because people started calling her “Maks” and her closest friends refer to her as Max. She is always tempted to do really stupid things like climb buildings for no reason. At the end of freshman year, her duck escaped its pen and she had to chase it around it. She wasn’t paying attention so she kicked an old shed anchor. It cut through her boot and she had to get stitches. She spent her last day of freshman year in a wheelchair. The gag reel of her life would consist of clips of her tripping, not being able to speak, and trying to be funny but failing.
