On Saturday, the men’s and women’s indoor track teams put on a fantastic showing at the WNC Polar Bear Championship in Polk County. The Women’s team placed 2nd overall. The meet consisted of teams from all over WNC from 1A-4A. This was their last meet before the indoor track state championship on February 14th.
On the men’s side:
Men’s 1000M- Nathan Stamey, 3rd
Men’s 1600M- Ethan Stamey, 2nd
Men’s 3200M- Ethan Stamey, 1st and Nathan Stamey, 2nd
On the women’s side
Women’s 1600M- Dylan Garcia, 1st (19 seconds shy of school record)
Women’s 55M Hurdles- Hannah Angel, 1st
