On March 24th, the UNIFY event took place in the FHS gym and almost half the community came to support along with the students and staff of Franklin High School. The past 2 years were not like before because of COVID-19 hit in 2020 we weren’t able to have the event but in 2021 we were only able to have just a few students there. So this year we wanted to make it very special for them, we wanted them to experience the feeling the athletes at Franklin High school get too. We had banners made for them, they got their names called out, the seniors were recognized and got gifts, they signed autographs to people after the game and we tried to make the game most realistic as we could. Most of the community came to support and were a big part of making them feel loved and happy with big smiles on their faces.
