Franklin High School: Student Spotlight

Makayla moved to Franklin because her dad had a job opening up to be a pastor. Her favorite memories at her last school were goofing off with her friends and being able to be herself. She would move back to her old school if she had the chance. It was kind of hard for her to find a new group of friends here, except for the friends she made at basketball this past summer. She also plans on playing basketball for FHS. Her least favorite part of moving here was having to start over again and get used to everything. She likes to hike and play the guitar. Her favorite thing about FHS is that the school isn’t as big as McDowell so it was easier for her to find her way around. If you ask her how to replace a shattered phone screen, she will most likely say she doesn’t know and to take it to Verizon. If you were wondering, she drives her sister’s jeep and she does not keep her keys in her car.
